We are rockstars in 3rd grade! They are collecting so much bonus money that I’ve had to print out more.
Walk-a-thon is this Friday. Please be sure to have them wear comfortable shoes and bring a water bottle. We will walk about 3 miles that day. Dismissal will be at 11:30 that day. We have two map tests this week, one tomorrow on Wednesday and the other on Thursday. The memory verse due October 5 is Psalm 119:11-12 → “I treasure your word in my heart, so that I may not sin against you. Blessed are you, O Lord; teach me your statutes.” Math: We are cruising through topic 9, which is still focusing on addition and subtraction. Most of my friends have deemed everything easy, and I am happy that they feel that way. We should wrap up this unit in a couple of weeks and then move into multiplication and division. So, please start having this use their multiplication and division flashcards at home. Social Studies: We are having so much fun working with our 4th-grade friends! Mrs. Brucato and I are thinking of more projects that we can do together. If you have a Hispanic background and would like to come in on October 15, please let me know! The kiddos would be so proud and would love to hear from you! We will wrap up lesson four in the next couple of days, which will ultimately mean the end of chapter 1. I anticipate our first social studies test being Thursday, October 7th. Important Dates:
