We are running low on clorox wipes and hand sanitizer. So, if you can start sending some more in, that will be greatly appreciated. The memory work for the week comes from Ephesians 4:32. It is due February 2 → And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you. It is almost time for us to start our Black History month project. The project will be done strictly at home. On Monday, they brought home a list of people to choose from for their research project. On Thursday, they will bring home a folder of information that will help them with getting started on their project. The project is due Thursday, February 25.. The information will also be found on Google Classroom in case they misplace things. Math: We will wrap up our 5th topic on Wednesday and begin to move into the reviewing stages. We covered a lot of good things in this topic, so we will spend a good amount of time reviewing. I recommend having them redo the Khan Academy lessons that we’ve done, using their flashcards, and continue to write multiplication and division problems. We will take our test on Tuesday, February 2. Reading: This week, we are learning about poetry. We will spend some time learning about limerick and free verse poetry. We will also begin to learn about some more forms of figurative language such as alliteration and rhyme. In Grammar, we will learn about singular and plural possessive nouns. Outside of those new things, we will review folktales, similes, and point of view. Important Dates:
